* Start avidly saving. Meaning if I forget to put 10% of one paycheck into
savings, I'll put double from the next paycheck.
*Pick an item from the Date Night Jar each month and actually do it.
Granted I don't have many resolutions, but this is the first year I've actually made any. But now to explain the Date Night Jar =]
I made the Date Night Jar probably around October or November, and I got the idea from Life In the Green House which I saw on pinterest. She put popsicle sticks in a mason jar with different date night ideas and had different colors if they required planning. I really liked the idea but I was lazy and didn't want to go to the store so I made my own from supplies I had lying around the house =]
I had a cookie jar in the kitchen that I never put cookies in, so I decided that this would be perfect for our date night jar. And instead of popsicle sticks I typed up all the ideas I could think of, even using some from Green House and making them so they would fit the bf and I.
I came up with 100 or so ideas, which would keep us doing date nights for a LONG time since we will only be doing one once a month. I have new restaurants, adventure/outdoors activities that we haven't done together or either one of us hasn't, stuff I would like to do (go to a musical), stuff he would like to do (go to a haunted house), weekend trips, cute things to do together in the house, etc. The pink ones require planning and/or saving a bit, and the black ones require no planning and no saving money.
We picked the first one for November and we were never able to do it because of the car issues and then the holidays, so that's why it's on the resolution list. I'm excited to see what the bf thinks when he picks certain ones, I have some silly ones in there. =]

This is SUCH a cute idea! I love it and now I'm going to copy you and do this! Haha <3
