(In)Sane Sunday Stories

It's Sunday again! I'm up really early this morning. I've completely given up on trying to stay up late with the bf, it just doesn't happen. But I've got a fun day planned so I decided to get this knocked out of the way before I got too distracted =]

1. One of my text books came in the mail the other day! I'm really excited about school this semester, and that hasn't happened since after my first semester back home, so I'm taking that as a good sign. =]


2. Work has been exciting the past few days. I've had to stay late both days because we keep getting in SMAMs. (For those of you who don't know, it means small mammals). Ferrets galore!

3. It's sad when I go outside in 45 degree weather after a week of 10 degrees or below and say, "It's nice out!" Nice should be 60 or higher, not 45 lol!

4. I need to start putting up reminder slips for the bf in front of his coffee cabinet. I remember to remind him about stuff on the way home, and that doesn't work because everything is closed.

5. I finally finished MASH this week. The bf had finished it before me and watched it all the way through, but I've maybe only seen 4 or 5 seasons, not all the episodes in that season, not in order, and mostly the last seasons. But he said I know enough about the characters to watch the final episode. That was a trip. I didn't cry though. Sure it was sad, but not Radar leaving sad. I cried my eyes out with that one.

6. The cats are active in the morning. And I'm just realizing how quiet the house and outside is this early with hardly anyone up.

7. We bought Kevin a KONG since he likes to tear up paper, and feathers, and anything else really. But he doesn't know what the heck to do with this thing! I know if he started chewing on it he'd love it.

8. I took a mini adventure this week to Cherry Creek State Park, just to get some pictures of the lake frozen. There were quite a few people out on the lake, and deer as well.

9. I've been very girly lately. One of my friends out here is planning a wedding and most of her family/bridal party is not in state, so I've been asked to help in the little things. It's nice having girl friends =]

10.The bf bought an xbox forever ago and we hardly play it anymore. We used it for netflix when he was on his Battlestar kick, but other than that, I'm stuck on all my games =[ I saw that Disney was coming out with a game and since I don't have any that I really really want to play, I figured I'll give that a shot when it comes out.
