October Photo Challenge - Week One

Now this seems more do-able then one picture every day. And a theme helps! Thanks to Our Wired Lives and Mrs. L (whose blog I follow religiously =] and saw it on hers before finding out about Our Wired Lives), here is Day 1 - 7 of the October Photo Challenge!



Day 1: Self Portrait

I like blue, I got the bracelet in Hawaii, and this is becoming one of my favorite shirts!

Day 2: Fashion

I hope this doesn't count as a second self-portrait haha! This was a girly phase for me, I was trying out different styles of clothes and stuff. I didn't want to copy Mrs. L and put one of my only (and favorite) pair of heels as fashion. Shoes aren't really fashion for me anyway.

Day 3: Home

Home for me is decorating. My parents house was always decorated for every holiday imaginable, and if I don't have decorations for the holiday or the season, it doesn't feel like home. So I have Autumn and Halloween decorations up =]

Day 4: Love

School stresses me out a lot, and so Shawn will leave little notes or drawings on my homework to make me smile =]

Day 5: Sunset 

Now I'm not sure which is better, and Hawaiian sunset or a Coloradan sunset. Colorado does have unique colors though.

Day 6: Animal

My cats, Leila and Kevin mean the world to me. I've been playing around with my focus on my new DSLR (yes, I'm bragging =] ) so that's why Kev is in focus and Leila is out of focus.

Day 7: From a Distance

I took a trip through Cherry Creek State Park and was playing around with my new camera again. My camera freaked out when it tried to focus and this is what happened.
