Twisted Tuesday Tales

Hello there! =] Wow, I didn't realize it's been a month, but once a month is a good start to get back at it!

1. D and I went on our first ride together on the bike, about 200 miles. It was a great day riding through canyons and enjoying the weather. =] A to B to C, and all the way back to A!

2. D and I went camping in GJ over Memorial Day weekend. We really like it there =]

3. The weather here has been nuts! One day with 7 tornado touchdowns! This state is a little weird haha.

4. I sold my car! Finally!

5. The cats definitely enjoy our little patio enclosure. My old lady Leila is sleeping outside right now, she likes the wind in her fur =] She never used to like going outside until we made this enclosure, it's cute that they all like to hang out there!

Twisted Tuesday Tales

Hello there!! Man, it has been a long while since I've posted anything, but I'm going to try and get back into the swing of it. Kinda catch up/brief update. So here goes =]

1. I no longer work at a shelter, I work at a vet hospital. With my best friend. Which is pretty cool! =] We haven't been together like this since high school, and it kinda feels the same too haha. We don't see each other a lot during the day, and whenever we do, we both have stuff to get done!

2. D and I have two awesome vacations planned for this year, and we had two really awesome vacations last year - Utah in October and Carlsbad Caverns for Christmas! This year will be Carlsbad Caverns again because we were too late for the bat flights last year, and I REALLY want to see them, and Utah again for some awesome riding and astrological events =]

3. On our Carlsbad Caverns trip I learned how to drive with the trailer on the truck! I did pretty well, drove almost the whole way back, and D fell asleep (which must mean I was driving well enough that he felt comfortable sleeping haha).

4. I have taken some photography classes and upgraded some of my equipment. I definitely know how to manipulate my camera to get the shots I want now. I love it! My shots have definitely shown improvement as well =]

5. I have found a new favorite place, Mission: Wolf. Holy Batman, this place is wonderful! What they do for wolves and wolf hybrids is pretty incredible, and I love the people there.

6. We've finally printed pictures and hung them up in the house!

7. My best friend and I also went to the Wild Animal Sanctuary, which is a very cool place as well.

8. All three of us (myself, D, and my best friend) have also been to a sensory deprivation chamber, TWICE! That is such a unique experience, it is unbelievable. The lack of senses and gravity is so weird, and you're left with just your mind. And we've signed up for two more =]

9. We did lose our family dog in January, he was almost 15 years old. I miss him.

10.  We did a lot of hiking and camping last year, and will be starting camping again this season too. Already done a few hikes though. And have had a lot of fun days with the family as well. Life is good =]

Twisted Tuesday Tales

1. My bf and I went to EnduroCross! It was SO much fun! =]

2. I'm going to try printing out some of my portfolio pictures in the next week or so and hang them up, maybe in some local shops. Really excited and a little nervous about that one haha. =] And after seeing some of my bf's pictures, we need to print some of his too!

3. I did a photo shoot for the awesome Buck25! Thanks guys! =]

4. I love watching all four of our cats play together. It makes me happy =3

5. Trying to switch up school, so I'm probably going to take some photography classes and maybe a photoshop class to improve my skills.

(In)Sane Sunday Stories

1. Finished my second 5K today in 42:42! I like doing 5Ks, a lot. =]

2. We have so many ferrets and bunnies at work! Oh, and now an Iguana!! It's still feeling like Summer at work which is crazy.

3. My bf and I are still slowly working on stuff on the house. It's getting there!

4. Took some pretty interesting pictures of my bf on his dirtbike last weekend! I'd really like to start printing some of my photos and framing them in the house, and maybe at some point selling them. I really want to try and get a booth at an event and see how it goes.

5. I'm also going to start looking into doing some archery tournaments next year since my bow is up to date and I'm shooting really well with it. =]

Twisted Thursday Tales

Super late post, but for good reason!

1. We found a house!!! =] We moved in in 24 hours but had to wait a week for internet haha.

2. Kev and Leila have two new playmates: Python and Pennzoil =] My bf brought home his two kitties. They're all starting to get along already!

3. There are so many ferrets at work, I don't know what happened haha.

4. The dirtbike is fixed!! My bf can't wait to ride and I can't wait to take pictures of him riding again =]

5. Between the floods and little leaks we found in the house; water sucks lol.

6. It's so weird having so much space to spread out everything. I can't figure out where to put anything now!

7. My birthday was fantastic! Got a bunch of stuff to play with lol.

8. Fall Out Boy in concert was really cool! I loved their acoustic set and of course, they played my favorite Light 'Em Up =]

9. My books are up in the house! So happy about that =]

10. My sister is still the best chef ever! Birthday dinner and dessert was delicious =]
